DomainHunt
AI-Powered Domain Search & Price Comparison Tool Across Registrars
DomainHunt is a smart domain search tool that compares prices and plans across multiple registrars in one place, and uses AI to suggest personalised domain names and plans based on your project's needs.

DomainHunt is a concept and project I'm still actively working on, born out of a real problem I faced myself. While searching for domain names for my own future projects, I noticed that different registrars — the websites where you actually buy domains — offer very different packages, features, offers, and pricing, both for registration and renewal. Comparing all of them manually, one by one, felt like a waste of time. That's when the idea struck me: what if all this information could be brought together in one single place, and made even smarter with AI suggestions?
That thought became the starting point of DomainHunt. I quickly moved into building a prototype — working on the UI, backend logic, and API integrations — and managed to get a working MVP ready in a short time. At its core, it's a domain search tool where you simply enter the domain name you're looking for, and it checks and compares pricing across various registrars, displaying all the available plans neatly in cards for easy comparison.
What makes it more than just a comparison tool, though, is the AI layer on top. DomainHunt also asks users for some context about their project, and based on that, it generates suitable domain name suggestions along with a personalised plan recommendation — matched specifically to what the project actually needs, rather than just showing generic options. It's still evolving, but even at this stage, it solves a genuine problem I ran into myself, which is what makes it a project I'm genuinely excited to keep building on.
